JEDDAH: Igor Coronado’s time at Al-Ittihad has ended after the Brazilian midfielder came to a financial settlement with the reigning Roshn Saudi Pro League champions, Arriyadiyah reported on Wednesday.
The Arabic-language sports daily quoted sources close to the club who said that the negotiations were carried out in an amicable spirit.
The sources said that Coronado had requested the termination of his contract when Ittihad’s Argentine coach Marcelo Gallardo informed the player that he would not be selected for the club’s domestic and continental fixtures.
